Katherine Ray is an Associate Clinical Social Worker at New Journeys Behavioral Health. Katherine earned her bachelor’s degree in Sociology from the University of California, Los Angeles and completed her Master of Social Work degree at California State University, Los Angeles. Katherine brings diverse experience working in school settings, with veterans and the homeless population at the Veterans Affairs system, and supporting individuals with eating disorders, mental health challenges, and substance use concerns. This breadth of experience allows her to meet clients where they are and tailor my approach to their unique needs. At New Journeys, Katherine uses a person-centered, strengths-based approach and incorporates elements of Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy to support clients in their growth and healing. Katherine is passionate about helping clients navigate their challenges and empowering them toward meaningful, lasting change.
